How do I unlock Stemzel or restore a purchase?

Stemzel is a one-time unlock through the App Store. If you already bought it, open Stemzel and use Restore Purchase on the paywall. Make sure you’re signed into the same Apple ID you used to buy.

How do I import a song?

You can import in three ways:

Does my audio leave my iPhone?

No. Stem separation runs fully on device. Your music isn’t uploaded to Stemzel servers for processing. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What stems does Stemzel create?

Stemzel splits a track into vocals, drums, bass, and other, then lets you mix and export them.

Why is a URL import failing?

Use a direct file URL that ends in something like .mp3 or .m4a. Links to streaming apps, social posts, or cloud “share” pages usually won’t work. Download the file first, then import from Files if needed.

Separation is slow or the app feels hot

On-device ML uses the Neural Engine / GPU and can take a bit on longer tracks. Keep Stemzel in the foreground while processing, and try a shorter clip if you’re testing. Closing other heavy apps can help on older devices.

How do I export stems?

After a split, open the mixer / results screen and export the stems you want through the share sheet (Files, AirDrop, another app, etc.).

Refunds

Purchases go through Apple. Refunds follow App Store policies — request one from reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple purchase history.
